Before considering changes, we should look into what the actual behavior is now and was in the past. I could have sworn that other threads were automatically reaped before. Perhaps I was wrong, or perhaps this got changed at some point. Or perhaps they really are now and it's happening by a means that is escaping us when we read the source today. Thanks, Roland
