To: binutils@sources.redhat.com Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Date: Fri, 25 Jul 2003 01:29:00 -0000 Message-Id: <1059096734.1081.12.camel@localhost.localdomain> Mime-Version: 1.0 X-SW-Source: 2003-07/txt/msg00497.txt.bz2 Hi guys, I am facing this problem, whenever I try to do an objdump on my linux kernel with the --source flag, then segmentation fault occur. If without the flag is ok. Anyone has any idea what happened?? the kernel I am using is 2.4.20-rc2. The binutils ver. 2.11.2, gcc ver.2.95.3 and glibc-2.2.2. The command line I used is powerpc-linux-objdump --source vmlinux Before this it was work fine with the old kernel ver. 2.4.4. I really need to get this working so that it is possible me to do a trace with the bdiddd, else the ddd would not run. Thank you in advance. Regards, Mike G.
