Subject: "Base" version in output of objdump
Date: Thu, 08 Dec 2016 09:00:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1ace5cf4-1102-c43e-9843-5e0453a56644@gmail.com> (raw)
"objdump" dumps unversioned symbols in versioned shared object as having
version "Base".
Can be ambiguous (e.g. with symbol having version with explicit name
"Base").
I can write a patch that will cause objdump output unassigned version as
"*BASE*" (similarly to "*ABS*" and "*UND*" section names); including
testsuite. Should I? Or would it be too incompatible change?
