BSDI can't support core files (Thanks to Nick Clifton on helping me figure this out). To fix, remove the i[3456]86-*-bsdi* from configures core selection section and add i[3456]86-*-bsdi*) COREFILE='' ;; This will make it select no core support. Thanks for the help!
