Subject: Branch will be created this Saturday
Date: Fri, 25 Apr 2003 13:46:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20030425134620.GA23616@nevyn.them.org> (raw)
Since the Mozilla folks have given me the perfect motivation to be prompt
about this, I'm going to create the release branch for binutils 2.14 this
Saturday. I have an extremely small set of issues that I'm still tracking
(readelf -wi test; Alan's versioning patch, which I'll have test results for
in my next message) but other than that I believe some testing is all that
stands between now and a release. There are some problems on different
platforms and fixes for them have been coming in this past week; I think
that a branch will help us go monotonically forward.
I'll announce the branch once I've created it. Please only apply
significant fixes to the branch.
