Hi
I was wondering if some body could tell me if gcc supported a.out format
for mcore. If yes, what can I do to build one? Iam basically looking for
some easier format than the elf for a linker modification I need to do. I
needed to maintain multiple copies of the same variable and address
different copies at different times. I would appreciate any
ideas/suggestions towards that too.
regards
-Sumesh

Have you read the ld info files describing overlays?
