Hi all,
I now tested everything on different hardware (same problem), and ran
g++ with -save-temps. In two builds where no BFD error messages occurred
but two .o files were faulty in one case,
*the .ii and .s files generated by -save-temps were the same*
but the .o files were not.
This hints at a defect in the assembler. I am currently trying to
produce a third build, where error messages in the BFD part of the
binutils also occur.
I am not sure whether I can provide any .ii or .s (or even .c or .cxx)
files to people who could use them for debugging. I will try to convince
people in this company to let me :)
