Given that the changes in
http://sourceware.org/ml/binutils/2009-01/msg00383.html
don't seem to be in binutils, was there any reason why it wasn't
picked up? Any reason why they can't be merged now?
I'd rather not have these changes be a local modification to
the NetBSD's repository copy of binutils but will do so if needed.
BTW, the patch applies cleanly (no rejects) to 2.19.1 ...
