How can an unknown opcode be a fatal error? Certainly, the testcase could be adjusted for that, but I think the target's making this more severe than it should be. Jan

From the log file:

Executing /usr/local/src/trunk/src/gas/testsuite/lib/run ../as-new
-alm /usr/local/src/trunk/src/gas/testsuite/gas/macros/dot.s
>&dump.out
regexp_diff match failure
regexp "^.*:28: Error: .*$"
line "/usr/local/src/trunk/src/gas/testsuite/gas/macros/dot.s:28:
Fatal error: Unknown opcode: `x.y.z 0'"
extra regexps in
/usr/local/src/trunk/src/gas/testsuite/gas/macros/dot.l starting with
"^(.* )?GAS .*$"
EOF from dump.out
FAIL: macros dot
