Subject: New git repository for binutils documentation
Date: Fri, 16 Feb 2024 12:12:57 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <87plwwli9i.fsf@redhat.com> (raw)

Hi Guys,

The overseers at sourceware.org have kindly created a new git
  repository for the binutils documentation:

    anonymous access: git://sourceware.org/git/binutils-htdocs
    commit access: ssh://sourceware.org/git/binutils-htdocs

There is also a cgit index:

     https://sourceware.org/cgit/binutils-htdocs/

Updates can be made by anyone in the sourceware binutils group.

Note that this is a smaller group of people than have access to
the binutils-gdb repo, which is the src group, so original gdb
  hackers do not have access.

The URL for the top level page is still the same:

    https://sourceware.org/binutils/

Note - changes made to the top level index.html file in this
repository will not automatically be reflected to the copy on the
gnu.org site. Instead it is still necessary to email the
webmasters@gnu.org and ask them to update their copy manually.

Cheers
  Nick
