Hello,
I hit this error when I compile a (MIPS) assembler file with listing
generation enabled (-ahl=listing.lst)
(latest binutils -git). 2.22.90 is not affected.
mipsel-softfloat-linux-gnu-gcc -g -Wa,-ahl=obj/reset.lst -c -Os -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes -std=gnu99 -ffreestanding -funit-at-a-time
-fno-pic -mno-abicalls -fno-builtin -mips32 -msoft-float -G 0 -DEL
-Wa,-G0,-non_shared,-mips32 -I. -Iinclude -DAU1200 -DASSEMBLER
reset.S -o obj/reset.o
/tmp/.private/mano/ccMJAoOa.s: Assembler messages:

Assertion failure in emit_inc_line_addr at /.../gas/dwarf2dbg.c line 977.
