Hi
I just posted a patch to gcc to mark m32c-rtems as an obsolete and on
the path to removal. Is there anything comparable in binutils.
The m32c-rtems support doesn't appear to be anything but pattern
matches in ld/configure.tgt and bfd/config.bfd so it isn't a huge deal
if it stays.

Sorry. I knew about the code. I was wondering about a special case
for enable deprecated targets? GCC has a special option.
I will post the patch for this.
