I think that Alan fixed all the ones that were a direct consequence of
my objdump patch.

> ./build-alpha-linux/ld/ld.log:FAIL: TLS -fpic and -fno-pic exec -relax

I have checked in a patch to take care of these failrues, which were
due to the unexpected presence of the .eh_frame section in the output.
