Hi folks,
I have been tried for several days to install
'gdb-5.0.tar.bz2', building a Debugger/Emulator of
uClinux without result and meeting following problem
$ cd ./gdb-5.0
$ ./configure --target=arm-elf (went through without
problem)
$ make
......
.......
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/satimis/uClinux_Project/gdb-5.0/readline'
make[1]: Entering directory
`/home/satimis/uClinux_Project/gdb-5.0/sim'
make[2]: Entering directory
`/home/satimis/uClinux_Project/gdb-5.0/sim/common'
make[2]: Nothing to be done for `default'.
make[2]: Leaving directory
`/home/satimis/uClinux_Project/gdb-5.0/sim/common'
make[2]: Entering directory
`/home/satimis/uClinux_Project/gdb-5.0/sim/arm'
make[2]: *** No targets specified and no makefile
found. Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory
`/home/satimis/uClinux_Project/gdb-5.0/sim/arm'
make[1]: *** [all] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory
`/home/satimis/uClinux_Project/gdb-5.0/sim'
make: *** [all-sim] Error 2
It exited automatically.
Kindly advise how to get it done. I'm almost at
despair. If this is not the right list please advise
where will be the right place to post my problem.
