Log message:
- fix senario where a server dying could leave clients with regions marked
that the new server would not know about, allowing for simultaneous
writes and re-syncing operations. (Results in corruption).
- Use mempool in places where memory allocation failures would make us
unhappy.
- Some code clean-up
- Other bug fixes that I can't remember.
