Yes it is possible.
No, crosstool-NG does not (yet?) support that. Sorry.
You could have a look at Firmware Linux ( http://impactlinux.com/fwl/ )
and see how they handle that. If you have a litle time to tackle this into
crosstool-NG, I'd gladly accept a patch! ;-)
