Subject: [CT-NG] Static linking impossible on the host system 'x86_64-build_apple-darwin11.2.0'
Date: Fri, 06 Jan 2012 03:55:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <4379EEDF-C8D0-4206-91A2-296B6B83C16E@y7mail.com> (raw)
Hi all,
I'm building a cross toolchain for the RS Media using crosstool-NG 1.13.2 on Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion). I followed the instructions under "Using crosstool-NG on MacOS-X" (docs/C - Misc. tutorials.txt), however when I try to build the toolchain I get the following error:
[INFO ] Performing some trivial sanity checks
[INFO ] Build started 20120106.145119
[INFO ] Building environment variables
[ERROR] Static linking impossible on the host system 'x86_64-build_apple-darwin11.2.0'
Is there a way to get around this?
