Hi, I don't know much about buildroot, but I gave your two configuration files a quick look. From your crosstool-ng configuration file, I saw you have not changed the default installation path for the generated toolchain: CT_PREFIX_DIR="${HOME}/x-tools/${CT_TARGET}" CT_INSTALL_DIR="${CT_PREFIX_DIR}" These two settings mean the toolchain will be installed in your home directory: /home/zm02/x-tools/i686-zm-linux-gnu In buildroot, however, you have not configured this correctly. Instead you seem to have pointed buildroot to an intermediary toolchain used to build your final toolchain by crosstool-ng: BR2_TOOLCHAIN_EXTERNAL_PATH="/home/zm02/development/crosstoo-ng/crosstool-ng-1.18.0/toolChain/.build/i686-zm-linux-gnu/buildtools" You should use the final toolchain.
