Hi all,

What kind of platform you uses to build the toolchain for windows (E.g. mingw, cygwin or cross compile toolchain). I am using the mingw-w64 for darwin to build it on MacOS. But I found the generated toolchain is not full compatible with windows. Some issues have happened like gdb has some strange SIGSEGV when I use it on windows.

Best wishes,

Peica Chen

We are using Ubuntu Linux boxes with ct-ng.
We do Canadian builds were host=mingw, build=linux, target is etiher
ARM-linux, or mingw
So, even the Windows native mingw GCC we build on a Linux box.

Kind regards,

Remy

Hi Remy Bohmer,

Thanks for your reply.

Are there any thing wrong when use the those utilities on Host?
As my mention, the gdb is not work on my host(mingw). But if I build it
by mingw on windows with the same configuration, the gdb is work very
well. Do you have any idea about it?
