The last change I have made: --prefix=bar instead of --prefix=/bar This solved the problem of mkdir bar Error. Then, I configured binutils with: --target=m68k-coff --prefix=bar It took awhile, but finished successfully. Next, I did : make all install It stuck with the follwoing error. /bin/sh ../../binutils-2.10/bfd/../move-if-change tofiles ofiles touch stamp-ofiles /bin/sh ./libtool --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -W -Wall -o libbfd.la -rpath bar/lib -release 2.10 archive.lo archures.lo bfd.lo cache.lo coffgen.lo corefile.lo format.lo init.lo libbfd.lo opncls.lo reloc.lo section.lo syms.lo targets.lo hash.lo linker.lo srec.lo binary.lo tekhex.lo ihex.lo stabs.lo stab-syms.lo `cat ofiles` libtool: link: only absolute run-paths are allowed make[3]: *** [libbfd.la] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/users/ronenl/gcc-cross/build-binutils/bfd' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/users/ronenl/gcc-cross/build-binutils/bfd' make[1]: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/users/ronenl/gcc-cross/build-binutils/bfd' make: *** [all-bfd] Error 2 Q: what seems to be the problem now? thanx, ronen. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com .
