Message-ID: <> (raw)

The following package has been upgraded in the Cygwin distribution:

* units 2.20

The Units program converts quantities expressed in various scales to
to their equivalents in other scales. The units program can handle
multiplicative scale changes as well as nonlinear conversions such as
Fahrenheit to Celsius or wire gauge. Units comes with an annotated,
extendable database defining over three and a half thousand units using
ten systems of units including SI, 170 currencies, plus bitcoin and
precious metals prices, which may be updated daily using the units_cur

Version 2.20 - 30 September 2020
* Added abs(), ceil(), round(), floor(), Gamma(), lnGamma(), factorial(),
erf() and erfc() functions. * Added densities of all of the elements * Added
several new unit systems (listed below with their -u name)
  - Heaviside-Lorentz CGS units (hlu)
  - Natural units used in high energy physics and cosmology (natural,
  - Planck units (planck), reduced planck units (planck-red)
  - Hartree atomic units (hartree)
* Added --conformable option which noninteractively prints a list of
all units conformable with a specified unit.
* Invoke the pager more intelligently depending on the size of the screen
* Fixed bug where unit lists conversions displayed with excess precision
(e.g. non-integer output for integer input)
* Display precision warning when conversion to unit lists uses all of
  the available precision

HTML (single and multi-page), Info, man, PDF, and txt format docs are
all now included.
