This version is a refresh from CVS on sourceware.org. The reason for the quick rerelease of binutils is to catch the change mentioned here: http://sourceware.org/ml/binutils/2004-12/msg00322.html I thought this fix was important enough to merit a new release. Binutils undergoes active development so there have been a number of fixes, many related to windows. If you have been experiencing problems with programs like dlltool, ld, objcopy, etc., it would be worthwhile to update your installation. For a brief description of this package, and a listing of the files it contains, see http://cygwin.com/packages/binutils . To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your system. Then, run setup and answer all of the questions. *** CYGWIN-ANNOUNCE UNSUBSCRIBE INFO *** If you want to unsubscribe from the cygwin-announce mailing list, look at the "List-Unsubscribe: " tag in the email header of this message.
