Subject: [1.7] Updated: {libtool/libltdl7}-2.2.7a-11
Date: Fri, 27 Mar 2009 20:49:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20090327203206.81DEAFE97@heartbeat1.messagingengine.com> (raw)
GNU libtool is a generic library support script. Libtool hides the
complexity of using shared libraries behind a consistent, portable
interface.
This is a bugfix and feature enhancement update.
[[ compiled using gcc-3.4.4-999 ]]
This release is specific for cygwin-1.7, but it differs from the
simultaneously-released libtool-2.2.7a-2 cygwin-1.5 in only trivial
ways.
CHANGES SINCE 2.2.7a-10
=================================
* Removed patches derived from the msvc branch (these are not
ready for prime time)
* Added two patches from Yaakov Selkowitz:
- Allow libltdl to properly detect that cygwin applications
can dlopen(self) under certain circumstances
- Make -export-dynamic actually work
- gcc4 compatibility
Test results -- old tests:
All 113 tests passed
2 tests were not run
Test results -- new tests:
78 tests behaved as expected.
8 tests were skipped.
(no regressions from 2.2.7a-10)
