This is a bugfix release, and an update to the latest debian source and patchlevel (2.62-3, 2009-01-31). This release is compiled with SSL/TLS support, provided by openssl. Use the included ssmtp-config script to configure the service; see /usr/share/doc/Cygwin/ssmtp-2.62.README and 'man ssmtp.conf' for more information. Note that the ssmtp-config script will /not/ automatically configure SSL/TLS support -- you must do that manually. [[ compiled using gcc-3.4.4-999 ]] This will most likely be the final ssmtp update for the cygwin-1.5 distribution; future development will continue with ssmtp-2.62-10 for cygwin-1.7. CHANGES (from ssmtp-2.62-1) =========================== o updated to latest debian patchset (Debian pkg 2.62-3) - fixes CVE-2008-3962 (which we had already fixed in cygwin release 2.62-1 thanks to Pierre A.
