This means that you can be chatting with friends on MSN, talking to a friend on Google Talk, and sitting in a Yahoo chat room all at the same time. Pidgin is cross-platform, supports numerous chat protocols, and can be extended through plugins. This release includes relevant parts of Fedora's patchset. Note that the Yahoo protocol plugin is no longer compatible with the Yahoo Messenger service. Please install pidgin-funyahoo-plusplus and use the Yahoo (2016) protocol instead. -- Yaakov
