A new version of the patchutils package, 0.3.2-1, will soon be available on a mirror near you, leaving patchutils-0.3.1-1 as previous. NEWS: ===== This is a new upstream release. See also the package documentation in /usr/share/doc/patchutils/. 0.3.2 (stable) Interdiff had previously been putting absolute filenames in the input to the patch program. It now avoids doing this. Editdiff no longer runs rediff when no changes were made in the editor. The correct exit status is now set when the decompress option fails. A temporary file leak has been fixed. The documentation has been updated. DESCRIPTION: ============ Patchutils is a small collection of programs that operate on patch files. You can use the programs to combine, filter and split, correct output from 'cvs diff', list and grep patch files. UPDATE: ======= To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your system. Save it and run setup, answer the questions and pick up 'patchutils' from the 'Devel' category.
