Network Security Services (NSS) is a set of libraries designed to support cross-platform development of security-enabled client and server applications. This is an update to the latest upstream stable releases, and includes fixes for proper operation on x86_64. Also, the following changes have been made to the NSS packaging: * The nssckbi module (containing the root certificates) is now provided by p11-kit-trust and ca-certificates. This means all the major cryptography libraries now use a single source of root certificates on the system, which avoids the need to update nss solely for root certificate updates, and allows system administrators to add or override the defaults. Fedora has been doing this since F19, as described here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/SharedSystemCertificates * An nss-debuginfo package is now available. -- Yaakov Cygwin/X CYGWIN-ANNOUNCE UNSUBSCRIBE INFO ================================ If you want to unsubscribe from the cygwin-announce mailing list, please use the automated form at: http://cygwin.com/lists.html#subscribe-unsubscribe If this does not work, then look at the "List-Unsubscribe: " tag in the email header of this message.
