DESCRIPTION: ============ JasPer is a collection of software (i.e., a library and application programs) for the coding and manipulation of images. This software can handle image data in a variety of formats. One such format supported by JasPer is the JPEG-2000 format defined in ISO/IEC 15444-1:2000. UPDATE: ======= To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the http://cygwin.com/ web page. This downloads setup.exe to your system. Save it and run setup, answer the questions and pick up 'jasper' from the 'Libs' category (it should already be selected). DOWNLOAD: ========= Note that downloads from sources.redhat.com (aka cygwin.com) aren't allowed due to bandwidth limitations.
