Hi

New versions of 'ghostscript/ghostscript-base/ghostscript-x11' have been uploaded to a server near you.
Together with 'ghostscript-fonts-std-8.11-1' and 'ghostscript-fonts-other-6.0-1' which have been split
into their own packages.



DESCRIPTION:
============
GNU Ghostscript is Postscript interpreter capable of converting PS
files into a number of printer output formats.  Ghostscript can also
render PS files into a number of graphics file formats.


Cygwin NEWS:
============

 o Maintainer change
 o Switched to cygport build framework
 o update-alternatives is used to switch between the X11 on non-X11 
   version of gs
 o Split out ghostscript fonts in their own packages

UPDATE:
=======
To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on the
http://cygwin.com/ web page.  This downloads setup.exe to your system.
Save it and run setup, answer the questions and pick up 'ghostscript' from
the 'Graphics' category (it should already be selected).

DOWNLOAD:
=========
Note that downloads from sources.redhat.com (aka cygwin.com) aren't
allowed due to bandwidth limitations.  This means that you will need to
find a mirror which has this update, please choose the one nearest to you:
http://cygwin.com/mirrors.html
