This is the first upstream maintenance release for Perl 5.24. Note ==== This release is intended primarily for Cygwin package maintainers to check compatibility and eventually build package updates in preparation of a general release. Using it requires manual intervention of the setup process and building your own perl distributions. Depending on the upstream release schedule it is expected that a general release of an updated Perl on Cygwin will either happen when 5.24.2 or 5.26.0 gets released. -- *** CYGWIN-ANNOUNCE UNSUBSCRIBE INFO *** If you want to unsubscribe from the cygwin-announce mailing list, look at the "List-Unsubscribe: " tag in the email header of this message.
