# cygwin setup.hint from lapack distribution
category: Math
requires: liblapack liblapack0
sdesc:"Comprehensive FORTRAN library for linear algebra operations."
ldesc:"Comprehensive FORTRAN library for linear algebra operations.
Includes matrix inversions, least squared solutions to
sets of equations, eigenvector analysis, singular value
decomposition, etc. A very comprehensive and reputable
package that has found extensive use in the scientific
community. Cygwin binary distribution includes a non-optimized
reference blas library.
There's the source of our missing close quote!

also the other 2 setup.hint have the same problem.
I am re-uploading in this moment if we need to have the
src package right.
It will take 10 minutes
Sorry

Ok Corinna,
I will re-shuffle the setup.hint.
I will also rename liblapack_0 to liblapack0
as this should be the right form

Your obsoletion of lapack itself isn't correct. You still need the
lapack package yourself for the source archive. I would create an
empty lapack-3.1.1-2.tar.bz2 as well and keep the category intact.
There's also the problem that users of lapack won't get the new
lapack packages when updating. You should add liblapack_0 to the
lapack requirements, too.

Dear All,
I would like to adopt lapack.
As the current lapack-3.0-8 include both the
libraries and the development, I propose the following:
lapack-3.0-9 obsolete and empty that requires
liblapack
$ tar -tjf liblapack/liblapack-3.0-9.tar.bz2
etc/
etc/profile.d/
etc/profile.d/lapack.csh
etc/profile.d/lapack.sh
usr/lib/lapack/
usr/lib/lapack/cygblas.dll
usr/lib/lapack/cyglapack.dll
the new libraries will stay in liblapack_0
$ tar -tjf lapack/liblapack_0/liblapack_0-3.1.1-2.tar.bz2
etc/
etc/profile.d/
etc/profile.d/lapack0.csh
etc/profile.d/lapack0.sh
usr/lib/lapack/cygblas-0.dll
usr/lib/lapack/cyglapack-0.dll
for developement libraries:
previous: liblapack-devel-3.0-9.tar.bz2
current: liblapack-devel-3.1.1-2.tar.bz2
to download
wget -r- np http://matzeri.altervista.org/cygwin-1.7/lapack/
./lapack-3.0-9-src.tar.bz2
./lapack-3.0-9.tar.bz2
./lapack-3.1.1-2-src.tar.bz2
./liblapack/liblapack-3.0-9.tar.bz2
./liblapack/setup.hint
./liblapack-devel/liblapack-devel/liblapack-devel-3.1.1-2.tar.bz2
./liblapack-devel/liblapack-devel/setup.hint
./liblapack-devel/liblapack-devel-3.0-9.tar.bz2
./liblapack-devel/liblapack-devel-3.1.1-2.tar.bz2
./liblapack-devel/setup.hint
./liblapack_0/liblapack_0/liblapack_0-3.1.1-2.tar.bz2
./liblapack_0/liblapack_0/setup.hint
./liblapack_0/liblapack_0-3.1.1-2.tar.bz2
./liblapack_0/setup.hint
./setup.hint
As in 3.0 blas and cblas(C interface) are
merged in cygblas-0.dll
Hoping to have not mes the things.
Regards
Marco
