It'll probably be released end of May if all current blockers are resolved by that time. If not, there's another 5.21 release and the next release slot would be end of June. > I'm expecting to release TeX Live > 2015 in mid June, and it would be nice to be able to update Biber to > the current version at the same time. > > Do you think you will have released Perl 5.22 by then? I've been building the last few test releases and it looks there are no Cygwin specific bugs that need to be taken care of. So in principle I could do the release rather fast. However, considering the fact that there are a bunch of Perl modules that need updating and not all of them are mine, the most likely course of action is that I'll upload the new Perl and my distributions to my own site so that interested parties (in particular, other package maintainers) can pick it up from there, build and test their stuff and we'll then coordinate the switchover. I'll be on a business trip beginning of June, so the actual release might be later that month if everything else works out OK.
