Subject: Naming convention for versioned libraries
Date: Sun, 11 Jun 2017 18:13:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <fdd33df5-75a2-01bc-99f2-3520b9b8f6e4@cornell.edu> (raw)
I'm about to ITP geomview, which will include a library package
containing DLLs of the form cyg*-1-9-5.dll. Should the package be
called libgeomview1_9_5 or libgeomview_1_9_5? I see both conventions in
the distro.
