  It looks to me like the OP only posted once (they all have the same UIDL, or
rather there were two unique UIDLs and two unique posts each duplicated many
times), but that sourceware.org received it multiple times.

  I notice that there didn't seem to be any message-id in the original
incoming messages.

  Perhaps there's a loophole where sourceware returns a
temporary-fail-please-retry-later, but accepts the incoming message anyway,
and fails to spot it's a dup because of the lack of a message id.
