Once you get it working to your desires, would you mind posting the magic
formula somewhere in the cygwin web pages, probably near where we talk
about TOFU and other mailing list faux pas?  Also, is the magic based
solely on file extension?  I'm always annoyed that T-bird seems to think
that .patch must be sent binary, but .patch1 is text.
