Message-ID: <4BA3109C.8090804@users.sourceforge.net> (raw)

The following package has been updated for Cygwin 1.7:

* xorg-server-1.7.6-1
* xorg-server-1.7.99.901-2 (TEST)

This package contains XWin and the other X.Org X11 servers.

This is an update to the latest stable upstream release. A new snapshot
of the 1.8 beta series has also been made available as a test release.

Support for the RECORD extension has been fixed and re-enabled in both
versions. Here is a summary of relevant changes in 1.7.6-1:

Alan Coopersmith (1):
       Use $(AM_V_GEN) to silence more commands when AM_SILENT_RULES is
active

Chris Dekter (1):
       Re-enable RECORD extension.

Daniel Stone (1):
       Record: Avoid duplicates from replaying frozen events

Peter Hutterer (9):
       dix: don't update the slave coordinates from the VCK.
       Xi: assume BadMode for non-BadMatch errors returned from
SetDeviceMode.
       dix: try to ring the bell even if the current device doesn't have
one. (#24503)
       dix: remove now-erroneous comment about frozen slave devices.
       dix: Use DeliverGrabbedEvent for implicit passive grabs (#25400)
       Revert "dix: Use DeliverGrabbedEvent for implicit passive grabs
(#25400)"
       Xext: Link to external libraries when necessary.
       configure: restore SHA1_LIB for XSERVER_SYS_LIBS
       xserver 1.7.6

Yaakov (10):
       Add libtool m4 macros to .gitignore
       kdrive: Use $(MAKE) in relink rules
       Use EXEEXT in relink rules for portable DDXs
       Fix relink targets for silent rules
       Respect value of SED from configure
       Fix .man.N targets for AM_SILENT_RULES
       Catch errors in recursive relink targets
       Use libtool -export-dynamic flag for portability
       Add Xephyr and XWin manpages to .gitignore
