Date: Wed, 06 Oct 2004 11:26:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <> (raw)

The following packages have been updated in the Cygwin distribution:

X-start-menu-icons-1.0.3-1 f5d146258cfbee40e550924deb816770
  src f145ab8957bd2e4b921f57a27ced4335
X-startup-scripts-1.0.9-1 3a040b81ef9a05d1d11a152ec9188bbb
  src e3fc7491fc49479d705dc54613a5ead7

  * /usr/X11R6/bin/run has the ability to set PATH variable
run -p <path> command will add <path> to the PATH variable
and start command with this special setting

  * The startmenu entry have been reworked to use the -p option of run.
xterm should now work again since /usr/X11R6/bin is in PATH again

To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on
the web page. This downloads setup.exe to your
system. Once you've downloaded setup.exe, run it and select "X11"
and then click on the appropriate field until the above announced
version number appears if it is not displayed already.

If your mirror doesn't yet have the latest version of this package after
24 hours, you can either continue to wait for that site to be updated or
you can try to find another mirror.
