Subject: RE: XDMCP connection doesn't work

Thanks,

I rebooted the machine, so kdm was restarted. I have added the -from
my_ip_address option without success.

In order to be more precise, I have to say that:
- trying to connect to a RedHat 7.3 machine, I have got the grey window
without the login window
- trying to connect to a Advanced Server 2.1(AS), the grey window disappears
(it crashes!)

What is the log file that I have to check?
Thanks
Peppe

You'd have much better success with the Cygwin XFree mailing list. I've
cross posted there.

As for your problem, did you restart kdm? Anything in your log file? Did
you try using -from?
