It is supposed to be installed,but when I try to execute Singular (Emacs and X-server) a fatal error occurs, and in /var/log/Xwinlog is reported the following error: Welcome to the XWin X Server Vendor: The Cygwin/X Project Release: 1.7.5.0 (10705000) Build Date: 2010-02-25 Contact: cygwin-xfree@cygwin.com XWin was started with the following command line: xwin -multiwindow -clipboard -silent-dup-error ddxProcessArgument - Initializing default screens winInitializeDefaultScreens - w 1280 h 800 winInitializeDefaultScreens - Returning Fatal server error: Can't read lock file /tmp/.X0-lock I have tried these possible solutions (FAQ): 1. startxwin -- -nolock 2. rm -rf /tmp; mkdir /tmp ; chmod 1777 /tmp and they have not worked. I hope you can help me.
