Aha.

It seems we have a bug causing the DPI to be set to random values after a resize.

$ xdpyinfo.exe | grep -A2 'screen #0'
screen #0:
   dimensions:    2560x1600 pixels (13107x41779 millimeters)
   resolution:    5x1 dots per inch

I've uploaded a snapshot with a fix at [1], perhaps you can test that?
