Recently upgraded from a single processor XP system to a multiprocessor Win 7 32 system. Can't get X running decently at all. Installed and re-installed CYGWIN several times. Saw some threads about using rebaseall to solve some similar problems but none of the command sequences help. Here is the log of my last attempt to get it operating. rm3@mcbroomrc2 ~ $ /bin/startxwin.exe giving up. /bin/startxwin: Connection refused (errno 111): unable to connect to X server /bin/startxwin: No such process (errno 3): Server error. Weird, yesterday I could at least start the server!!
