Subject: RE: fatal IO error 104 on start
Date: Tue, 06 Jan 2004 00:24:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <741C3B0BAF7B1F4F8FCC50AC4766CBF0248AEF@phoenix.ossconnexn.com> (raw)

Thanks for the tip. Looking at the log file, it appears that this is the pertinent error message:

Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'
winDeinitClipboard - Noting shutdown in progress
winDeinitMultiWindowWM - Noting shutdown in progress

Any ideas? I installed the default XFree86 packages.
