	The old trick is to spark up xfontsel, which can help you narrow down to the font you want.  Then push the "select" button, which copies the (oft-mistyped) font spec onto the clipboard.

	Next, in an xterm, type "xterm -fn '", dump the clipboard, close the single quote and hit return to verify that the font is usable.

	If that works, then you get to double check your .XDefaults grammar.
