Although I've installed the KDE and Gnome items available thro= ugh cygwin setup-x86_64.exe, none of the file managers such as Nautilus, Th= unar, KDE file manager etc. appear to be part of those installations. I tr= ied downloading a version of rox (rox-2.1.2-cygwin.tar.bz2) but installatio= n failed (gcc apparently detects multiple incompatible declarations in part= of the code).=20=20 Finally, I'd like a simple editor. Have installed nedit, but get 'UTF8 loc= ale not supported' followed by Segmentation fault when I execute it.=20=20 Any suggestions as to how I can get closer to a simple but workable desktop= /file manager/editor for developing and Unix applications?=20=20 Thanks, Wharton ************************************************************* Wharton Sinkler -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://x.cygwin.com/docs/ FAQ: http://x.cygwin.com/docs/faq/
