The directory named "consoleX" is my home-grown Cygwin root directory. (Others' preferred locationname might be "cygwin" or "mycygwin" or whatever.) The directory %SystemDrive% occurs at the root of the Cygwin filesystem. I cannot work out what activity has triggered it .. ..
