Q&A install for Cygwin and PostgreSql (emergency)

Hi,,
My name is Hyun-min, Kong.
I'm a computer programmer in Korea.
--< My working Environment >--
O/S : Windows 2000 Server / Win 98
CPU : Pentium III 700 MHz
HDD : c: --> Win98,      e: --> Windows 2000 server
Windows 2000 login --> id:Administrator


I will install of Postgresql 7.0.  And, I searched a method that porting PostgreSQL to windows NT installation procedures..

In porting Cygwin, happened to follow ...

CYGWIN does not contain "tty" you may experience problems with

I don't know what above messege means.

And, in porting PostgreSQL 7.0 (until make/make install)

No problems ...

But, I can't do initdb...


bash-2.02$ cd /usr/local/pgsql/bin
bash-2.02$ ./initdb
: not found
./initdb: 34: Syntax error: Bad fd number

I don't understand in last line...

Help me please... It is important... for me..
