I had my Un*x head on, where you can't mount on a non-existent mount point. While on this subject, what is the rationale for this to work in cygwin (w/ only a warning if performed interactively)? The result, where the mounted directory is only visible to certain commands, seems liable to generate confusion (or maybe I've been the only one?). // Conrad ----- Original Message ----- From: "Conrad Scott" To: Sent: Monday, May 06, 2002 4:53 PM Subject: Mount point not visible in ls > I'm befuddled and I can't find anything on any of the cygwin mailing lists > to help me, so I hope someone here can spot my mistake. > > My system has been working fine for a long time but just recently I noticed > that when I do an `ls' of `/usr' or `echo /usr/*', `/usr/bin' doesn't show > up.
