Hi!

I have an interest question :

How to work Perl with cygwin ?

I have GS's Perl (Standard version for NT). If I want install a module 
how to working this ?

Where a documentation of using the Cygwin's Perl ?

I'm want install GD and GIFgraph module for my NT.
This is possible under Cygwin or I get the M$ Visual C ?

Please Help me with some info...

There are no patches. This is this standard distribution of perl as is
generally implied by the fact that that bleadperl builds OOTB. For anyone
looking for "compatibilty" with ActiveState perl, the best option is to
apply the patch supplied by activestate to the standard perl source
distribution. (This actually fixes some bugs that were released in 5.6.1).

I build perl-5.7.1 once a week, it works.
Don't know exactly how it is with 5.6.1.

Better you get the Perl sources from cygwin with the patches
needed applied by E. Fifer. There is else an additional README
with some cygwin specific hints.

It's still classified as an experimental package.  Click the 'Exp' radio
button in setup.exe and you'll see perl.

I was told that I should download cygwin in order to get perl.  I downloaded
cygwin, but it doesn't seem to contain perl.  Is perl no longer a part of
cygwin, or did my download not work correctly?  Thanks!
