Cygwin is designed to work. Native console or mintty - they are just terminals that are in parallel to the nature of Cygwin as a platform for portable software. It comes by no surprize, that certain terminals have limitations, and indeed Cygwin terminal driver for native console have more issues than most due to the nature of native console. mintty was born exactly to combat the deficiencies of native console. It understand and provide all the normal TTY functionality a POSIX application expects, it even fix some deviations of PuTTY code it is based upon, making it a preferred choice for remote terminals. If you could convince ConEmu developers to provide adequate TTY functionality, you can just use it as a replacement for mintty, instead of trying to nest terminal emulators, which would never work straight. -- With best regards, Andrey Repin Tuesday, August 25, 2015 21:03:24 Sorry for my terrible english... -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
