Recently I downloaded
cygwin-b20_1-full.exe.
After installation, I started the application and
was warned by eSafe Desktop that the cygwin1.dll was infected with
Win32.FunTime.d. According to eSafe this is a Trojan.

Is this a valid warning and should I wait for
a new version of cygwin-b20_1-full.exe or is eSafe wrong?

I'd assume it was a valid warning, even if eSafe is wrong. Never
underestimate viruses. Of course, all our distribution sites are
unix-based, so it's highly unlikely that a virus got into full.exe (we
don't call it cygwin-b20_1-full.exe) through our ftp servers.
